
This game was created under the influence of 'Wicked and Kicking' when I thought about creating an SRD, but wanted to refine the mechanics further. Inspired by 'The Three Musketeers,' 'The Manuscript Found in Saragossa,' and the Witcher series.
You come from an impoverished noble family where nothing awaits you. Someone else will inherit the estate, land, and business – all you have left is a book written by your father throughout his life about every possible slight a nobleman can experience and how to avenge them. So you set out in search of fame, money, and love, with only this book and your own pride.
We Meet at Dawn is a solo game where you tell the story of a nobleman trying to gain reputation and glorify their name. A large part of gameplay consists of duels, during which you invent spectacular and (often) improbable descriptions of strikes. Not all the fights end in someone's victory – often it turns out that (as it always has been) the most important thing is the friendships made along the way.
